Current Lab Members:

Sarah Aguirre

I am an undergraduate sophomore. My major is in microbiology. My project is to identify promoters to drive transgene expression in mosquito larval fat body. I participated in the Howard Hughes Undergraduate Research Program which gives undergraduates interested in scientific research the opportunity to gain experience in an actual lab environment. I am currently with the NMSU Rise to Excellence Program which supports students on their path to a graduate career.

Alyson Banegas

I am a sophomore undergraduate student. My major is in Biology. My research is sponsored by the NMSU Howard Hughes Undergraduate Research Program. I'm working on the regulation of nutrient accumulation in mosquito larvae.
