Sarah Aguirre

I am an undergraduate
sophomore. My major is in microbiology. My project is to identify
promoters to drive transgene expression in mosquito larval fat
body. I participated in the Howard
Hughes Undergraduate Research Program which gives undergraduates
interested in scientific research the opportunity to gain experience
in an actual lab environment. I am currently with the NMSU Rise
to Excellence Program which supports students on their path
to a graduate career.
